This is an Asian adult showing extreme manifestations of cholera. Note the sunken eyes, flared nostrils, and shrivelled skin of the hands ("washerwoman's hands"). These are all manifestations of acute, life-threatening fluid loss requiring urgent intravenous fluid therapy.
